Keloid scar treatment Toronto

Before I left the UK I was getting steroid injections on the NHS to treat around 20 keloid scars on my shoulders, chest and back. I'd like to continue that treatment in Toronto...

...however I noticed that OHIP only covers keloid scarring on a patient's face. So I'm guessing I have to go private.

That leads me to the clinics I've discovered through web searches - some of which have questionable before/after pictures (clearly photoshopped) - http://www.drcolinhong.com/keloids/

So has anybody gone through this treatment in the GTA? I'd like to know your thoughts and clinic recommendations...

Best answer: My partner had good success at AvantDerm (www.avantderm.com). His keloid was about 2 inches long and each injection cost around $30. He was referred there by his doctor, but is pretty sure you can just call and book an appointment there without a referral. Good luck!
