WESTERN SAFETY/HARBOR FREIGHT SWIVEL LENS HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT BULB.

I need to get a LEB bulb for this headlamp. It comes with a regular incandescent cheapo light bulb. bulb dia. is .281 inches and length is .486 inches. It is powered by 2 AA batteries. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've had good luck finding LED bulbs with obscure bases at superbrightleds.com. I got all the replacement lights for my pinball machine there, which had 3 different kinds of tiny flashlight-like bulbs in it.

What kind of base does the bulb have? If it's a pin type base, just get a bare LED, clip the pins short, and stick them in. Any LED bulb with a screw base is going to be more expensive than just buying the LED version of the headlamp from Harbor Freight ($2.99).
