Short term housing help in Munich

I desperately need help finding a place to stay in Munich from April 9 - May 12.

Due to massive procrastination I still don't have accommodations booked for my upcoming trip to Munich April 9 - May 12, and I was hoping German mefites might have some bright ideas for places I should look.

I would ideally like to stay somewhere within walking distance to the LMU Klinik und Poliklinik für Dermatologie und Allergologie (although something convenient by public transit would be ok too).

I've looked on wimdu, vrbo, and airbnb and the few places left that are available are very expensive. I'm hoping to spend less than 2,500 CAD for the month. Ideally I would love to stay in a private apartment, but at this point I'm willing to consider anything. Dorms? Convents? I'm a clean quiet young professional student, and I would very much appreciate any leads you could provide! Feel free to memail me if that's easier. Thanks so much!

Look into serviced apartments.

If all else fails, you might have luck patching together two different apartments or one apartment and then a few days somewhere else. Airbnb searches are frustrating: If you use the calendar lookup for a range of dates and the apartment is booked for even one of those dates, it doesn't show up in the search results, but I'm finding more places when I fiddle with the dates.

Look on Toytown.

Years ago I had an internet friend who lived in a dorm-style apartment in the former Olympic Village. Looks like it's definitely not walking distance but could be worth looking into? They do short term school holiday rentals, too, per their site.
