70s/80s movie about a babysitter who's a witch

I have a vague memory of watching a movie on local TV Saturday afternoon (this would have been in the late 90s). Family hires a new babysitter, she turns out to be a witch & does witchy stuff. I remember she was blonde and there were lots of yellow & orange tones in the shots. I'm also pretty sure there was a shot of her levitating. I already have determined it is NOT the 1990 Friedkin film "The Guardian", though the witch did look similar. Any ideas?

it's not a movie, but free spirit was a tv program with a levitating witch that minded the children.

Response by poster: Free Sprit looks really fun! But unfortunately it's not what I'm thinking of. This one definitely intended to scare (though I am not sure what its success rate was)

Best answer: Not a babysitter movie, but Stranger in the House has a teenage out-of-town cousin and the shots I remember were orange-and-yellow heavy.

Also, I think I saw it on a Saturday afternoon local TV station, so that sort of matches too

Best answer: I also suggest Stranger in the House (aka Summer of Fear). There's a climactic scene that takes place partially in a darkroom, so it's very orange/red. The witchy stuff she does is mostly voodoo-ish; don't know if there was any levitating.

Couldn't it be The Kiss (1988) with Joanna Pacula? But, can't recall levitating either.
