Do you know a great custom jewelry maker in the Bay Area/anywhere?

Do you know jewelry makers who would make a ring to exactly match my wishes?

I'm looking to have a special ring made. I want it to resemble my favorite ring:

But be made of white gold, and with an aquamarine stone.

I really want a replica, not a creative interpretation with the artist's own touch. I suspect this is not most jewelers' preferences, though I could be wrong. Any suggestions?

I would try Etsy for this -- basically look for someone who does this type of style and has high ratings, and email them with a request.

Response by poster: Thanks rainbowbrite.

Alternately folks, if you know of Etsy artists who work in this style, also appreciate.

Best answer: My family has been going to Martin Del Bonta on Post Street for decades, for every manner of repair, resetting and duplication.

Best answer: If you're on the Pensinula, I recommend Ed at Galati Jewelers in San Mateo.

Best answer: Pave in Berkeley replicated (exactly!) a cheap piece of jewelry that I wanted to have in real silver. A++ would replicate again.

Would a trip to Cambria be a possibility for you? The good folks at Alexander Denny have created some great natural motif pieces for us - including our wedding bands. They're talented artists who will work with you to create what you want.

Seconding Pave. We got our wedding jewelry there, and they'll do pretty much whatever you want. They also have a store in Oakland, which is where we went.
