Easiest setup for becoming a youtube gamer?

My 6th grader has become very enamored by these guys and would like to dip his toes into the youtube gamer world. He has an xbox one (without kinect). What's the cheapest, easiest way for him to simultaneously record his gameplay and his running commentary (picture within a picture - not just audio) as he plays?
Response by poster: So, I need to purchase a kinect sensor for the xbox one, correct? And is there a way to record these twitch broadcasts to upload to youtube?

I haven't tried to do it, but I think you only need the Kinect if you want to show his face in the corner. If you only want verbal commentary, I think you can just get a headset. If neither, I'm pretty sure he can just broadcast himself playing the game.

Also, note that this is Twitch, not TouTube, which may be a critical distinction for your son.

YouTube has https://gaming.youtube.com/ in beta, but I think you’ll need a hardware capture device to stream from an xbox directly to YouTube.

You do have to be 13+ to create a twitch account though, due to generally crappy US law COPPA.
