Experience gifts in San Diego as a wedding present?

Ok, Mefites. You did fab with this question, can you help me with a similar issue but for a different couple? My dear friend (I used to live with her many ages ago) just got married last week in Hawaii to someone amazing for her. She came to our wedding overseas and I'm gutted we were unable to attend theirs. She lives in San Diego. They have been living together for years and are pretty set for house things so something experiential might be nice. Some more relevant details inside if it helps:

- They live in an apartment with 2 cats, although I think they are looking to buy a place very soon.
- Although the guy is pretty sporty she's not as much. My favorite memories with her are spending hours on the couch watching Arrested Development and ordering Thai takeaway. I don't think she's changed that much since then but it's not because she's shy - she's super outgoing and always up for an adventure! She just likes her couch a lot too (and when I last saw her, she had the same couch!).
- She loves food, music, drinks. She introduced us to pickle backs on our last visit. *shudder*
- I don't know her husband that well, we only spent a weekend with both of them. All I know is he's pretty funny and Canadian and introduced us to home made maple whiskey which we finished that night.
- She has been living in San Diego for like, 15 years so I need something kind of unique.
- Budget is pretty generous as we were originally going to spend thousands to go to Hawaii anyway but couldn't because of another non-relevant reason. But let's say under $500 so no one suggests we fly them to London.

I love this girl and I want to let her know how happy I am for her. Thanks guys!

Bottle service for two (or more) at Vin de Syrah, an Alice in Wonderland inspired wine bar in the Gaslamp Quarter.

My friend who lives there hosted a birthday party there - it was wonderful and unique.

For my graduation from UCSD I went tandem paragliding at the Torrey Pines gliderport. Definitely an unforgettable experience.

If they're willing to drive to Los Angeles for this, and you're willing to go a bit more than $500, the Pan Am experience:

Relive the magic of flying onboard a luxurious Pan Am 747. An experience available only at Air Hollywood.
