Help me find these Merrell boots!

A while ago, Real Simple magazine featured the Merrell Spire Peak boots. I just got around to looking for them in my size (7 womens/38 in Europe) and cannot for the life of me find them anywhere. Does anyone have suggestions on where to look both online and in DC area stores?

There is an REI in College Park Maryland that has a good selection of Merrell products. They may be able to help you get these specific boots if they don't carry them.

I think you should find the number for the corporate headquarters for Merrell and call them and ask them about the boots. I used to work for a design firm, and we got calls all the time about where to get certain products people had seen in magazines. If they had tried looking online, they would have never found what they were looking for, not in a million years- we weren't distributed that way. Calling is going to save you the most time and hassle.

Merrell is owned by Wolverine Worldwide (who also owns Hush Puppies). They have a fairly large outlet store at their headquarters (just up the road from me in Rockford, MI). If you can't find what you want on the internets, give them a call & maybe they can help you out: (616) 866-0161

Response by poster: Sorry, I should've mentioned that I've tried online shoes, REI, and froogle already, plus all the Merrell recommended stores. I hadn't thought about calling HQ though, thank you very much for that idea, pinksuperhero & chris.
