Looking for a divorce lawyer in Portland, Oregon.

I need recommendations for a divorce lawyer and/or a divorce mediator in PDX. A few details inside.

We don't have kids, but we do have animals (both cats and dogs) that we will need to work out a custody arrangement for.

The marriage is at an end in large part due to financial problems (my spouse unilaterally refuses to bring in money), a clinically sexless marriage, and high-conflict communication. We've seen two different couples counselors in the past year, with no results. I'm scared to take this next step, but also ready to move on with my life.

The throwaway email is pdxdivorcehelp@gmail.com.

I'd really appreciate the help. This is scary stuff.

I always advise Avvo when you need to find a lawyer. I've used it several times in the last year alone, and been really happy with my choices. For a specific recommendation, check out Shawn Nathan Menashe. He has a nice set of reviews from clients and endorsements from other lawyers.

Alex West was recommended to me by a lawyer friend. While she didn't do my divorce (we mediated) I did pay for a couple hours of her time to get the lay of the land and I found her to be very helpful.
