Sister book from childhood?

Hi! I love this site so much! I am hoping you can help me; as a kid (maybe about 10 years old, in 1991,), I read a book about sisters. The older one was (I think) a hairdresser and was bossy. The younger one and a friend got into some mischief eating buttermints that they were supposed to be selling. I've tried googling things like "My Sister the Boss", but to no avail. That's what I thought the title was....anyway, I would love if someone can help me out and tell me the title of this book! Thank you!

I had and read this book! I've just spent the past 20 minutes trying to find it, but unfortunately I don't remember the title and you're right, all the search terms are too vague. The older sister was going to hairdresser school, or possibly beauty school, and she used her little sister, the pov character, to practice things on. The final exam involved her doing pin curls, which were described as terribly old fashioned. It was a chapter book and I want to say it was part of a series. I hope somebody can remember what it was called.

Yay! Found by searching Worldcat for my sister the in the title field, and limiting Audience to Juvenile.
