Custom cut in Brooklyn

Where in Brooklyn can I get a few pieces of plywood cut to specific/odd dimensions?

Hi all, I have a weird nook in my closet were I want to put some plywood shelves that are somewhat irregularly trapezoidal in shape (10.5 x 5.5 x 16 x 17)ish. I just want about 4 pieces of plywood cut to those dimensions. I went to the Home Depot in Bed-Stuy this morning and they won't do irregular cuts such as these, and after some research I get the impression that Lowes won't either. So where can I go to both purchase the wood and get it cut (in the same place)? The cheaper the better.

I want to stress that I DO NOT want to do it myself at all, so please don't suggest that I get some kind of saw.

Have you tried contacting some of Brookyln's shared artist studios/workshops like Makeville and Spark Workshop. I was in a similar situation a few years ago and just brought in some lumber with the dimensions marked and one of the members there was more than happy to cut it for me in exchange for a donation to the space.

You could try calling Dyke's Lumber in Gowanus. The only saw I know they have is for cutting the ends off of long pieces, but they might be able to cut all sides of some plywood or point you in the right direction.

Call a handy man with his own saw. Angie's list.

Response by poster: Do any of these suggestions allow me to purchase wood at the same time? I'd prefer to do it all in one place, otherwise it will take me week to find the time.
