Long weekend in Miami - recommendations

Wife and I will be spending an upcoming long weekend on Miami beach. Looking for some really good restaurant recommendations, specifically Cuban/Spanish and any other "must sees" while there.

Do you plan on leaving the beach? Will you have a car?

One of my favorite places in Miami is El Palacio de los Jugos. Juice Palace. They do all kinds of fresh juices, I'm wacky for their limeade, although the pineapple juice is pretty great. So there's that. The sandwich counter and hot bars are bonuses. Cash Only. I go to the location on 27th Street. Go for lunch, it's open air. Spanish is helpful but not necessary.

Don Cameron is great for Cuban style seafood.

Perricone off of Brickell Rd downtown, just off of Mary Brickell Village is great for Italian, their patio is divine.

Yardbird on the beach is great (I know someone who used to work there.)

Lincoln Road is chock-a-block of adorable cafes and shopping. My favorite place folded last month The Van Dyke Cafe, but a new place, Soyka has opened in its place.

If you're not renting a car, take the Airport Flyer from the Airport to the Beach. It's dirt cheap, fast and you'll save $60 on cab fare.

Unless you like hanging out on the beach, or taking a walking tour of the deco buildings, there's not much to actually DO on Miami Beach, which is fine.

Eat, sleep, shop, sun, swim, smooch and relax.
