North Korea Internet Outages

As of this writing, North Korea has had two Internet outages in 48 hours. A lot of people seem to watch when Internet service goes down for countries and companies. But I don't recall anyone saying North Korea's Internet had gone down until within the last couple of days. Has anyone reported North Korea's Internet going down in the past?
Yes, this has happened numerous times, as erst's Google search demonstrates.
northkoreatech.org is a whole site that monitors this kind of thing.

Here's another person who portscans North Korea on a regular basis since Kim Jong Un took power. It doesn't (that I can see) have specific info about downtime frequency directly related to the question, but I'm guessing it'll be a useful link for someone else in the future, finding this question in search.

Response by poster: Thank you all. Merry Christmas (if Christmas is your thing), and Happy New Year.

So, yes. North Korea's internet has had outages before. You've probably just never had much of a reason to pay attention to news about North Korea's internet status before.
