How can I get in touch with the Kashkari campaign post-election?

My daughter won some scholarship money for a video she did for Neel Kashkari (California candidate for governor). She now needs to change the disbursement, but emails are going unanswered. Any ideas on how to get ahold of someone who can help? What happens after a failed campaign like this? Is there some sort of post-election team in place or does the entire organization just evaporate?

Best answer: Losing campaign teams scatter pretty quickly after elections (especially the ones who know they're going to get stomped by a million votes). Contact the state GOP. They'll at least be able to put you in touch with the campaign people, who might not be checking their @neelkashkari.com (or whatever) email addresses anymore.

Best answer: In most states if not all, the secretary of state requires that the treasurer of the campaign submit periodic reports of contributions and payments, including a final one after the election has been held. The SOS should disclose on its web site the name and address of the treasurer. That is who you should call.

Best answer: The state GOP is probably your best bet, but if you have trouble getting them to respond, try your state representative's district office. Even if they're a Democrat, as is likely, they probably know how to get in touch with the right people or know someone who does. Helping with this kind of thing is what district offices do.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the suggestions. Feels like we're back on track to getting this figured out.
