As a wild-assed guess, it means "Run for a while and then automatically stop."

Best answer: My guess is that it washes the top rack only.

Best answer: I suspect it runs the dishwasher cycle on only the top portion of the dishwasher.

Best answer: Seems like top rack only to me.

Best answer: Ha! I have a Bosch dishwasher, different model, with a button that says "Half Load". I've never used that setting because I wasn't sure which half it was washing. I will assume the top as shown on your button. I suppose I could have looked at the manual, but no, TL;DR.

I used to have a dishwasher that had a rinse-only cycle so you could wash off dishes without using a whole cycle and detergent. It was great for rinsing, say, breakfast dishes in the morning and then filling up the washer with more dishes as the day went on.

I'm not 100% sure but I'd guess that's what that button is for: quick rinse.

Best answer: Indeed that button is for top rack wash only in Bosch manuals.

Best answer: top rack was my vote too.

Response by poster: It's not quick rinse, that's the knob to the right of 0. My guess was top rack wash, but I wanted confirmation. Thanks everybody.
