Configuring additional Google Voice account (or similar) for business?

I currently use a Verizon phone with Google Voice configured to my personal Gmail account for voicemails and some texts. I love it – I get transcripts in my inbox and can quickly text from my laptop when I want to!

I just started a new job (hooray!) and have a new business Gmail account and have been working to optimize my overall email/phone workflow (hm!)

I thought for awhile to route everything (largely email and calendaring) through my personal Gmail inbox, but there are some functions, including Drive and Hangouts, that I think will require me juggling two Gmail accounts, (which is fine).

However – I'll be using my personal cell for business.

Is there a good way to create a new business number through Google Voice or, similarly, to route client calls/texts to my cell and, as needed, business Gmail inbox?

I've tried setting this up, and you can only seem to link a cell phone to one Google Voice account. I've heard that I could list my cell as "Mobile" or "Work," allowing two Google Voice numbers to be connected to it, but this would drop texting functionality.

Right now, I think I might just keep my personal number for business, but this means I'd have to log into my personal email account to sometimes field business messages, which is less than optimal but probably not the end of the world.

I also would like to be able to add business out of office messages.

tl;dr: if you have a good way to manage multiple voicemail/email accounts, I'd love to hear any tips!

I believe Google Voice has suspended the provision of new numbers, so I don't think you can get a new number, business or personal.
