Chicago sushi recommendations

Chicago and Sushi: I have a friend visiting town in the O'Hare/Rosemont El stop area. We live off of the Argyle El stop area. We want to get together for good sushi somewhere in the middle.

None of us have transportation, so we'd be El/bus bound (El preferable). My husband and I know quite a few places near the Fullteron/Sheridan red line stop, but that's quite the trek for her. Got any recommendations? We love sushi and the biggest bang for our buck is always a nice thing.

Why not meet downtown? Oysy is pretty good.

I don't know where you and your friend are well enough, but all I can say is Sushi Wabi has some of the best sushi in Chicago.

We must be neighbors.

Although I can't really contribute, I've only eaten sushi in the hood, which is quite good!

you'd have to take a bus from Rosemont to Woodfield, but it might be worth it--Todai has the freshest sushi in town.
