looking for romantic songs in funny movies

For our 10th anniversary, I'd like to present movie buff Gnik Nus with a list of sweet songs sung by the actors in modern (say, the last 30ish years) comedy movies. So far I've come up with "Tonight You Belong To Me" from The Jerk, "I Was Born To Love You" by Chevy Chase in Caddyshack, and "I Wanna Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler, and Steve Buscemi singing 'This Much Is True" in The Wedding Singer. Bonus points for sweet moments and then something funny happens, like when Bernadette Peters pulls out the trombone while they're softly singing on the beach.

Best answer: How about I Say a Little Prayer for You from My Best Friend's Wedding? Or La La La La La La La Means I Love You from The Family Man?

Michelle Williams sings two songs in The Baxter — I don't know the titles. As in Annie Hall, the song near the end is better.

Tom Hanks playing the ukulele and singing to a comatose Meg Ryan on a raft made of luggage, in Joe Versus the Volcano was touching.

Both the moonlight and bovine themes link it nicely with with George and Mary singing "Buffalo Gals", in It's A Wonderful Life. Not a modern firm but a recognizable one.

James MacAvoy sings a very spirited version of You Are My Sunshine in Penelope. It's funny and adorable because he plays a lot of instruments, badly.

Response by poster: Thank you thank you for some wonderful movie scenes that I'd forgotten. There's some really great stuff here. And thank you for not pointing out my gaffe- Bernadette Peters played the trumpet.
