Whet my appetite for Hannibal season 2 with subject-appropriate music!

As many of you are no doubt aware, the second season of Hannibal is nigh. Please recommend me some songs about cannibalism to get into the proper mood!

My current playlist is short and sad, so I turn to you fine folks for help. More specifically, I'm looking for things in the vein of A Tale They Won't Believe or Timothy, and not so much Cannibal. Bonus if the the cannibalism mentioned within is clearly literal, and not a metaphor for something else.

Would The Sawney Beane Clan by the Real McKenzies be something like what you're looking for?

Two suggestions.

Shriekback: Nemesis
The Magnetic Fields: Queen of the Savages

Guadalcanal Diary's song about Michael Rockefeller doesn't make explicit reference to cannibalism, but there is speculation that that's how he died.

Came in to suggest the Shriekback. Will second it and bow out now.

Not cannibalism, but Nick Lowe's Marie Provost is the catchiest song you'll hear about a person getting eaten by their dog...

Best answer: Came back in to point out the totally creepy communion song I learned as a child (doesn't meet your bonus criteria because ostensibly it's a metaphor I guess, but still):

Sons of God (hear His Holy Word)

Chorus:

Eat his body! Drink his blood! And we'll sing a song of love!

Rammstein's 'Mein Teil'. A song about a recent cannibal is about as literal as you can get.

Best answer: Back again, I assumed either your "Cannibals" link was this or somebody would have posted it by now:

I Eat Cannibals

Best answer: This is the metaphor kind: Formidable Marinade by Mikelangelo and the Tin Star. Many version abound.
Thought I was takin' a bath til the water started getting hot' Leopard Man Joe Wallace.
I know its from a wolf perspective and it is a doing it metaphor but it feels right Little Red Riding Hood Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs
Knives Out Radiohead
Cannibal Buffet Voltaire
Silver Spoon Grace Slick

Now can I mention all the trashy lust ones? Hungry Eyes, Maneater etc? No? okay... I'll come back to the thread if I go and get my Halloween compilation album covers from the car.

Best answer: Greenskeepers -- Lotion! It is actually all about the Silence of the Lambs movie, and contains cannibalism references (though the chorus is more about Buffalo Bill's famous lines).

Best answer: Hitchhiker Joe. My best advice is, don't eat Spam for a while.

Also, not really about cannibalism, but appropriate nonetheless:

Dinner Music for a Pack of Hungry Cannibals

(Although the extent of cannibalism is the title)

OK. Just one more quick argument for Shriekback. Though Nemesis (the cannibal song) is not among them, there are like three Shriekback songs on the Manhunter soundtrack. Manhunter is, of course, the first filmic portrayal of Hannibal Lec(k)tor.

How about "Marry Ann" by Regina Spektor? The cannibalism is mostly alluded to, though.
