Name my robotics startup

Some coworkers and I are starting a consumer robotics company and we need a name. We prefer a name that isn't "______ robotics", and doesn't have "robotics" in the name at all, because we won't necessarily be building full robots. Instead, we'll be incorporating robotic technology, sensors, and software into everyday objects to make them work better or in new and interesting ways. Eventually well have full-blown robots, but that's a few years off. We'll also be providing robotics consulting services to other companies.
Pre-requisites: name.com need to be unregistered or for sale for less than $1k.
We like names that might be based on foreign languages or have some clever hidden meaning, but even a nonsense word that has a robotics-like ring to it is acceptable. So, Mefi, what makes you think of robots but doesn't have "robots" or "robotics" in the name?

Talonetics. Talos was the guardian of Crete, forged by Daedalus out of bronze. And according to WHOIS, talonetics.com is available!

Don't have an input on the name itself, but your tagline should be "Robots in Disguise."

I actually think your tag line will be more important than your name as it will explain the overarching emphasis of what you are trying to convey with your name. For instance...
Flowlife
Machines that stream
Flowlife
Machines to improve your stream
so, whatever you come up with, make sure you have a strong tagline under it.

I think anything ending in -netics makes me think of robots. So pick a word you like and add -netics to the end.

I was thinking along the same lines as Setec Astronomy, but was going to suggest R.U.R.

E.E>Emergent Enhancement
The distinguishing feature of enhancement is that it aims to improve human or mechanica functioning above ‘normal’ or ‘average’ I think a play on the Secret Life would work well for you as you are enhancing and improving everyday tools and machines.

Practica. Your stuff makes things more useful, or one might say, practical. And it has a sort of Latinish sound to it.

(I tried to do an anagram of "Consumer Robotics" but the best I came up with was "Cross Tour Combine," which sounds like the worst band name ever.)

Hephæstus was the God of smiths, mechanisms. That's an awfully ambitious name, though. Maybe you can narrow down the scope a bit? Education? Military? Domestic?

Response by poster: Education/hobbyists/mainstream consumers, mostly. Similar to Arduino markets.
