Plant Identification Help

My son and I saw an unusual plant on our walk tonight (Seattle, urban area).
The outside looks like an orange plum but the inside looks like pomegranate seeds.
I've tried various "Plant Identification" sites, etc, but with no luck.
Please help?
Best answer: While googling this, I found an old Ask Metafilter post about the same fruit - Passiflora caerulea.

Response by poster: Yes! I swear I googled all over for like an hour trying to find the answer.
Thank you!

Yay! Here's how I found it, in case that's helpful. After going down a few useless paths, I tried "orange fruit with red seeds", and Google put some images in the search results, and they included this little blurry thumbnail that looked like your fruit - which conveniently linked to that Ask Metafilter thread.

Passion Flowers also called Maypops. You can actually eat the orange fruit!

Maypops are Passiflora incarnata, that is most likely a Passiflora caerulea.
Maypop fruits aren't red inside and caerulea's fruit is... not tasty.
It could be a different passion flower hybrid. Are there any flowers on the plant right now?
