What can I do with my domain(s)?

I'm looking for ideas for good, useful, or fun things to do with domains that I have hosted at Dreamhost. I have a blog, a couple email addresses, and an Out of the Park Baseball league on various domains now, but I feel that there's much more I could be doing.

What are some worthwhile things I could be doing with low to moderate effort? Some thoughts that I've had include streaming media to my family's various iOS devices and backing up the entire contents of my NAS.

What kind of fun can I have with my domains?

Host OwnCloud.

... which technically violates the terms of service. At least that's how I read webfaction's terms. I figure DreamHost is similar.

OOTP - I'm terrified to get back into that game. Anytime I start up I get sucked in for hours a night.

You could move away from using Facebook or Google Plus or whoever has all your photos by installing a photo sharing app.

You could track the books you read.

OwnCloud has been problematic to setup and to use, at least for me. Dropbox/Skydrive/Google Drive is sooooo much more refined and easier to use.

Minecraft server?

If you have a dreamhost shared hosting account, it's surprisingly cheap to add a bottom-of-the-line virtual private server (VPS). With that, you can do lots of servery stuff that's impossible or against the terms of service on the regular account.

By surprisingly cheap, I mean there's an extra discount for your first-ever VPS that they don't even tell you about until you've signed up.

You may have, Humboldt32. DreamHost offers OwnCloud install advice, although the TOS say file sharing, personal backup, archiving are not allowed.

An email query should sort it out, one way or the other.

Like a minecraft server or a chat server, or if you wanted to learn node.js or something like that...
