[UK E-cigs filter] Can you recommend menthol e-cigarettes?

Asking for my partner - she is looking to give it another go at quitting smoking and would like to try e-cigarettes, can you recommend menthol-based brands and perhaps share some experiences?
She had positive experiences with e-cigs bought at the airport, not sure what the brand was. As a complete non-smoker, I am out of my depth and so reaching out to the hive mind for recommendations - she normally smokes Sterling with a button (whatever that means) and wants e-cigs that are menthol based. I wanted to be helpful but the amount of information online is a bit overwhelming. Can you recommend any particular brands which are UK-based? And a bonus question, have you been successful in using e-cigs to quit smoking altogether?

I've been at them for about 2.5 years now and have been through a plethora of brands. The last real cigarette I had was on the 2nd of March, 2011.
First of all:
- don't buy some ready-made corner-store gizmo. They're a ripoff, they don't work particularly well, and you don't get much choice in flavours
- the more it looks like a real cigarette, the worse it will be
The most cost-effective and best-performing options will be the ugliest. However, they will give her the best chance of satisfying the craving and getting her off cigarettes for good.
- First one I had was a "looks just like a real cigarette" from Totally Wicked. Was good to start with, but battery didn't last long and had to keep refilling it with cartriges.
- I quickly moved onto an Ego, then Ego-C brand. These have much better rechargeable batteries that last, and a tank you fill with liquid that lasts longer. Stuck with these for a while.
My current kit - and what I highly recommend - is this:
Batteries:
Joy Ego-T batteries - see here: http://www.vapedaddy.co.uk/ego-t-1100mah/ . Purchase at least two of these.
USB charger:

Atomiser:
This is the bit that you put the liquid into. Kanger T3 is one of the best-performing models, and it fits the above batteries: http://www.vapedaddy.co.uk/kanger-t3/
Atomiser "heads":
Depending on use, the atomiser will become less effective every 1-3 weeks. You can clean or improve these yourself, or you can purchase additional heads cheaply. I usually buy a few of these at a time. http://www.vapedaddy.co.uk/t3-bottom-coil/
When you put the battery and atomiser together, and put liquid in, you end up with something that looks like a Sonic Screwdriver - but it works, the battery lasts, and you end up with a solution that trumps cigarettes in every way - including cost.
All of the product yourself are available from multiple websites in the UK - I've just inserted links to where I get them from.
Liquid:
I've been using Decadent Vapours for years - they're based in the UK, have a wonderful and esoteric range of flavours (including Roast Lamb), and are very good in quality.

Menthol-specific flavours are here:

Feel free to memail if you or your friend would like further info - I can talk about this for days...
