Good Paris Hotels for Internet Access over the holidays?

Looking for Parisian hotels in Monmartre or in central Paris with US-quality wifi or Internet access during the Christmas season. No wifi tokens or credits or anything like that, looking for flat fee wifi within guest rooms for at least one device. That the hotel be nice to stay at is a plus.

Does it have to be a hotel? I recently stayed at an AirBnB apartment in Montmartre with good wifi that I'd be happy to recommend. Much much cheaper than a hotel, too.

Response by poster: Staying with someone who would rather chew his leg off than stay an Air BnB I think, sadly.

Response by poster: ( but I could be persuaded if there where personal recommendations since the wifi need is mostly my thing)

How long are you planning to stay?

I stayed at this place a while back and it was glorious, and I don't know how long you're staying or how many people are going with you, but there is definitely wifi there and the location is amazing, and they may be willing to work with you on price if you drop my name (memail me for that information).

It's walking distance from the Musee de l'Eroticisme which is way more awesome than you think a museum of that name would be, located in Place Pigalle.

If you'd consider staying in the 6e, Hotel Le Clos Medici has free wifi. I stayed there two years ago and the wifi was great. The location was convenient to everything, including the RER if you're taking the train in from CDG. Teeny tiny rooms, but that's très européen, bien sûr.

For a week or more you really should consider a VRBO situation. I can give you some ideas in other neighborhoods too. Is it just you two, or are you going with a group? Because there are lots of great VRBO options that are one bedroom or studio type places with wifi that are way better than hotel options.

I stayed in a great VRBO on the border of the 6th and 7th, with great Wifi. It's a small one bedroom, though, so can only recommend it if that person you'll be staying with is someone you share a bed with.

I think staying in an apartment would be more fun, but we stayed in a hotel in the 7th, Hotel L'Empereur, just west of Hotel Des Invalides (good landmark!) and the internet was free, always there, and as fast as our standard internet at home (no T1 line or whatever). Let me know if you want any other details.

I just got back from a week in the 5th staying at "The Five Hotel". It was great! WiFi is included (I have no idea how to determine what US-quality is) and we had 3 devices and no complaints. We got a login and password on the first day for each device, and that was it.

Have you considered looking for wired Internet in the room and just taking along a cheap WiFi travel router? That's how I do it.
