Old timer New Orleans Jazz - trumpet

Trying to remember a jazz musician. He went commercial way back in 60's I think. He played trumpet I think. One tune I recall was "Elephant Walk" He was a very big man. He was on TV for quite a while. Can anyone remember this?

Al Hirt? I thought he had a variety show but I don't see it listed. He was all over tv though and did theme songs (eg, Flight of the Bumblebee for Green Hornet).
