What's going on in this GIF?
I keep on looking at it and people assure me something awesome's happening, but I am still confused?
I want to be in on the joke/awesomeness! I'm not naturally a visually oriented person and I'll eventually be left behind by everybody on the internet, but in the meanwhile, what is this?

To me, it looks like the young women in this built costumes that make it look like they're being carried by ghouls/zombies, but the creatures "behind" them are just tops of costumes?

Looks like weird dudes carrying girls; is actually girls cleverly dressed in costumes made to look like weird dudes carrying them and running about on their own two legs. It took me a while to get! (Look at the hands of the carrying party!)

Those girls aren't being carried. They have stuffed legs and a body wrapped around them.

Look at the spindly little skinny-jeans lady legs. Either two grown chicks are being carried by some ca. 2006 emo boys, or...it's a costume.

The legs portrayed as blonging to the carried women are dummies as are the torsoes protrayed as belonging to the carriers.
