Recommend a heart-rate monitor please.

Heart rate monitors and their bigger-better-brothers: as a follow up to this question about emphysema, I was wondering if the Green had some recommendations for highly reliable, simple to operate heart rate monitors.

Ideally they would display the current rate but also have an option to show duration of exercise, average rate, peak rate etc. But the primary requirements are reliability and simplicity.

I have a Polar that comes with software that probably has those features (I don't use the software), but the best feature it has is a unique (so they say) frequency for each monitor so as to avoid interference with others using the same monitor near by.
