Help me find my inner Michelle! (and an outer Ryan??)

NYC Shopping-Filter. Where can I find dresses/outfits like Michelle Williams in Take this Waltz?
I just came back from supporting my fellow Canadian Sarah Polley and watching Take this Waltz. The whole time I was really struck by Michelle Williams' dresses. I want some too! I am a terrible shopper so if anyone can point me in the direction of sort of vintage, sort of hipster-y but still sort of classic and tailored summer dresses in NYC, I would be very grateful.
I am a similar size but older, and definitely not Michelle Williams-esque in luminosity, or budget! Although I can pay more for well made stuff. Thanks! (In general I have been looking for sort of belted fitted but light dresses with very simple tops, either v-neck or square/straight cut, no real frills or adornments-I realize the IMDB pictures don't show too many).

Response by poster: Wow, that PopSugar link is kind of amazing. Also like the other two sites. But since I am in NYC, I guess I should hoof it around Soho and actually try things on in person...too bad it's so HOT!!!!

Steven Alan and APC. Both have great shops in NYC and are so Michelle Williams.
