Calendar with Outliner? Or outliner with calendar?

Does exist? A calendar program with an outliner? Ages ago, I used a Mac program called InControl. You outlined projects and tasks in one pane, and dragged them onto a calendar in the next pane. This allowed you to plan your day very nicely. Any thoughts on a modern equivalent?

Agenda At Once is a Windows PIM and to-do list with a calendar prominently featured. Perhaps that will be somewhere to start? Sorry, it doesn't seem to run on the Mac.

Do you need Mac software?
