Where did this suicide image come from? Anyone know where this originated?

I want to track down the creator of this image.

The image, I don't know. The advice, though, I'm pretty sure comes from the teenage witch movie The Craft.

Mod note: added title to the body of the post, please don't link to suicide images without making some sort explicit notation. Thanks.

Something Positive's Randy Milholland has the most famous treatment on it, I think, and from years ago - but I can't find it instantly in the archives or anything in the shop (he used to have merch featuring a razor blade character...and I can't remember that character's name, either, dangit).

I'll keep poking around.

the saying was around before the craft. i have tragic teenage notebooks with the phrase sprinkled in with some "art" from '93ish.

RIPPY! It's Rippy the Razorblade!

Anyway, he did a graphic featuring the whole thing with this character, much like that graphic only less...shoddy.

This was a t-shirt version of it.

ohno! I hit send accidentally! It had been an aside posted in the notes, I think, before Rippy was in "Life with Rippy". Might be worth emailing him.

I could swear that someone I know designed this image. I will email her to confirm, but while we (collectively) wait, I am nearly convinced I know the source of this particular image.

I was going to say it was in Sandman #6, but it's slightly different.

I heard this from my science teacher in eighth grade in Cambridge, MN. 1975.

What a small, small world. Yes, an acquaintance of mine made the image years ago for a worth1000 photoshopping contest for bad kids' posters or some such. I'm contacting her to see if she minds being credited. I'll follow up soon.

I got this exact image around 2005 from a friend and it was on a geeky website that also had an image of a Sun server re-used as a beer tap. Wish I could remember more, sorry. It was sort of a site of aggregated funny images so it probably didn't originate their either.
