Boston Late 90s Fliter: Looking to find out what happened to a fantastic musician by the name dahlia? He was extremely popular with the first job out of uni crowd, then all of sudden disappeared. Amazing original stuff and covers of strong female artists like Ani Difricanco and more - this was 1996-1998?

I am not sure if it was dalia, but something something similar. He was extremely young and had a good following. Curious to find out if he ended up with a music career.

Well, there's a band called dahlia here in Portland... Could it be the same guy: Keith Schreiner? And here's Last.FM's biographies on "dahlia".
