Post apocalyptic Dentist Movie Filter

Another Name That Movie Question - Mid 80s movie about a dentist traveling through a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

This must have been on Showtime or USA back in the mid to late 80s. It have a very Mad Max feel, and the dentist rode a motorcycle. Sorrry I can't remember more, but I've always wondered what that movie was... I can't imagine too many movies fitting this description.

I browsed around the IMDb because I have an affection for trashy movies. I didn't find what you're looking for, but I did find a 1988 film that aired on USA called "My Lovely Burnt Brother and His Squashed Brain." You'll never guess who played the character called "The Dentist." (Answer here.)

Erm, Eversmile, New Jersey, that is. Weird that both tellurian and I both forgot the NJ part. (I saw the film in the theatre when it came out and good god, did I hate it. :)
