How do I install a wireless antenna on a HP ZV5000 laptop?
I have Googled until my fingers bled, and I can find no diagram to show me where the antenna is supposed to go. I have already installed the wireless card, and I can see where the antenna wires plug into the card... I just don't know what to do with the ends of the antenna, which terminates at two small, metal objects which look like they are supposed to screw into something.

Best answer: They snap on to the antenna ports of the wireless card. Just place the connectors over the ports, push until snap engages.
A service guide isn't available for your model, but this explains it on page 43 (page-wise, not pdf-wise)

Response by poster: It's not the part that snaps on to the wireless card that I am questioning (that part fits just fine). There are two wires leading from the card, and the ends of said wires terminate in two small metal parts that look like they are supposed to screw into something. Where do they go? Behind the LCD? At the top edge of the motherboard? That's the part I can't figure out.

Best answer: Those leads typically run in a groove in the bezel of the monitor. I'm guessing this thing didn't ship with wireless so they never ran the wires. Its a PITA to run those.
