Movin' on Up

Mr. Cupcakes and I are moving from Seattle to Lummi Island at the end of February, and we need to hire movers. Looking for recommendations and ballpark prices for full service movers (packing, loading, transport, and unloading included).

I am disabled, and our last move almost killed my husband and left him with a permanent shoulder injury. I can do most of the packing, but my health and my husbands schedule makes this difficult to guarantee. We don't really have any friends in the area who can help load a truck, and the prospect of driving a large truck onto that tiny ferry is daunting to say the least. We are looking for a company that will pack our stuff (small 2 bedroom house, no appliances), load the truck, transport it to the island, and unload it. We've always done it the old-fashioned Uhaul way in the past. I have no idea how much this would even cost (other than "a lot") and what companies we can trust.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Best answer: For a local Seattle move last July, we used Super Friends Moving. They did a great job and I highly recommend them. For our move, we did the packing, but they can also pack for you.
