Did they forget to do the laundry?

Missed the game itself, but noticed that in yesterdays outing the Lakers were wearing their home gold and the Heat were wearing black with the game in Miami. Why?

Best answer: It looks like (from the linked article) that the black-on-black uniforms were some sort of special promotional uniforms. I don't know the answer for sure, but my guess would be that the Lakers road uniforms (with purple as their primary color) were too close in color to the black uniforms, so they agreed to wear their home golds.
