Take Me Out Near The Ballgame

Los Angeles Sports Loving Mefites - can you name a good sports bar near Dodger Stadium?

My company is having Dodger night this Thursday, and I'm interested in going first to a nearby sports bar, watching the Lakers (who will start @ 6:00 PM & be over by 8:30) then join my co-workers in Chavez Ravine for the second half of the ballgame.

By nearby, I'm thinking a quick cab ride.

Easy. The Short Stop. It's walking distance.

Seconding the short stop. I went there a few times before Dodgers games. Kinda divey, but that's what i like in a bar. Lots of pretty cool photos and memorabilia hung up all around and reasonable drink prices.

Unnecessarily thirding short stop because it's a cool place and they have $2 PBR pints. ItPBR, but this is LA. I'll be the guy you don't know also watching the Lakers game there

2nd on the Short Stop. I actually haven't been, but my buddy, who's traveled the world and tippled with the titans, insists on going before every game, so it must be good.
