argh!! nooooooo!! my amazing tax accountant has decided to retire and is leaving me without any referrals. can anyone recommend an awesome tax accountant, bonus points for specializing in working with creatives.

i'm in portland but anyone elsewhere who is familiar with oregon tax laws will be considered (my newly former accountant was based in california where i met him before moving to oregon).

Keith Clark (of Circle Jerks fame) in L.A. is a much-loved accountant for creative types who also works with out-of-state clients.

Did you happen to ask your newly former accountant for a referral? He might be the best person to guide you to someone else just as qualified. I bet he'd be happy to refer new business to a trusted associate...
