A British dark comedy about a boil on someone's neck/shoulder coming alive?

Am I crazy, or is there a (possibly British) dark comedic movie that involves a boil appearing on someone's neck and slowly coming alive?
There was a Futurama episode with a similar plot where Leela has a boil that comes alive named Susan (parodying Susan Boyle), and when I watched it I thought it was a reference to this movie with the same plot device. Yet my google-fu is failing me. Did I imagine this movie??
Thanks in advance!

Response by poster: Thank you all!! I have no idea why I couldn't find this, but Google was not cooperating.
(For some reason I had confused this with "Withnail and I" for years, and just realized I've never seen Withnail after I started to talk to someone about the movie and mentioned boils ... they were very confused).

Richard E. Grant stars in both movies, so understandable. :)

FWIW, in the Nickelodeon animated series "Fairly Oddparents", there is a character named "Elmer" who has a huge boil on his neck that can control his thoughts/actions and which occasionally speaks.

FWIW, this is a rough description of a plot element that arcs through the latter half of the Babylon 5 TV series.

Explaining why not would be a B5 spoiler, but no, not really.
