Slow music for a HOT day?

Hi, I'm in the southern hemisphere and it's HOT. I want to make a mixtape for just staying very, very still and sweating. It will definitely feature Summer in the City by Quincy Jones and the Paris, Texas soundtrack by Ry Cooder. So what are your favorite slow songs for a hot day? Bonus if it's on Youtube so i can listen to it right away, it's too hot to hunt down music right now :-)

And if you want to go for more of a desert heat, then try Peter Gabriel's album Passion. Here's the first track.

Response by poster: Yeah that's the vibe I'm aiming for, "lizard on a stone by the side of the desert highway"

Piggybackin' on anya32's suggestion: Summertime by Nina Simone.

Dazed and Confused - Led Zep, slow and sultry.
3030 the Instrumental - Deltron 3030 (DJ Kid Koala) Filthy slow sampling masterpiece.

Not on YouTube or I'd link it, but Tim Fite - The More You Do. 10:00 of slow music you can time your rocking chair to while you sip lemonade on the porch and watch the dust roll by.

I'm going to recommend M83's new album in pretty much every music thread for the next year, I think.

Hurry Up, I'm Dreaming.

Got to go with Nortec Collective's Trip to Ensenada on this one.

"Summer in the City" by Regina Spektor (this is NOT the same song as the one you mentioned by Quincy Jones--just the same title).

"Soft Serve" by Soul Coughing

(post the track list when you're done? I always wish folks who ask about mixtapes would do this.)

Elvis's "Can't Help Falling in Love" makes this list for me ever since I read this passage in Highways to a War.

Calexico's No Doze

This is maybe better for a hot evening or night, but I also like Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues (as heard on the "O Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack).

I immediately thought of "Big Log" by Robert Plant.

The lazy melody of the verses of Hot Fun in the Summertime by Sly and the Family Stone always seemed like an audio depiction of how I felt on those blistering July days when it was just too darned hot to do anything but sit and be sluggish.

Consolacao - the Smokey and Miho cover

I second castlebravo's Calexico suggestion and add pretty much all of their album Hot Rail. If I had to pick one track, I'd say El Picador. It's the first track on the album. Here are the rest in order:

Ballad of Cable Hogue
Ritual Road Map
Fade
Sonic Wind
Muleta
Midtown
Service & Repair
Drenched
16 Track Scratch
Tres Avisos
Hot Rail

Giant Sand is a great desert band--their Chore of Enchantment album was pretty damn great. Try Shiver.

Also, Willard Grant Conspiracy's Mojave album will suit your needs. Try Right on Time.

Not sure about a hot day, but for a hot night, you want the Cowboy Junkies' Trinity Session album, a cool fan and an ice-cold drink. I'm partial to Margaritas myself, ymmv.

Mining for Gold
Misguided Angel
Blue Moon Revisited
I Don't Get It (can't find this on yt, sorry)
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
To Love is to Bury
200 More Miles
Dreaming My Dreams with You
Working on a Building
Sweet Jane
Postcard Blues
Walkin' After Midnight

I don't smoke, but if I did, this is the album I would play while I took long slow drags on one cigarette after another.
