Chinese artists working for change?

Information about art and activism in China?

I want to learn more about how activists use art in pursuit of social change in China. I am obviously reading about Ai Weiwei, but who/what else should I look into? Consider art broadly defined and to include music, graphic design, cartoon, dance, architecture, literature and whatever else you can throw at me.

A friend of mine runs the Greening the Beige organization in Beijing--they bill themselves as an eco-minded arts collective.
