Mystery clothes wash settings on Candy Eclypsa washing machine

Help me decode the clothes washing settings on the washing machine in my new flat.

I am moving into a new flatshare which has a clothes washer in the kitchen. Problem: no one in the flat knows what the settings mean. I don't want to ruin my clothes! I thought this would be easy enough to figure out, but I haven't been able to find the manual online. The settings go from 1 to 10, but there are some symbols and also a Z (?). I took some pictures of the washing machine (sorry for terrible quality -- I don't have a real camera):

Left hand side of washing machine (where you put the detergent) -- looks to me like it says Eclypsa on the left and Candy on the right

Control buttons for machine. This says 'programme guide' -- I think the settings were explained here, but they've long since faded away

Right hand side of washing machine with wash settings

Close-up of wash settings

Another view of wash settings

View of entire washing machine

Can you help me solve this mystery? Any information or clues will be gratefully received. I mostly wash my clothes in cold water, so that'd be most important for me to know, if anyone can figure it out.

Candy have a user manual for the CE430 (not your CE450). The PDF is here. I'd bet money good money that the programs are very similar, if not identical.

This link will (hopefully!) help you find the model and/or serial number of this particular Candy Eclypsa washing machine. From there one might be able to Google up an operator's manual.
