Where to get something embroidered in Toronto

Does anyone know where I can get a single item embroidered in Toronto - hopefully on a Saturday morning?

I want to get a few words embroidered on a scarf for a friend - or worst case scenario, screen printed. Any idea where I can do that in Toronto? Most places online (apart from Bang-On, which I'm aware of) seem to do large batches, or aren't open on Saturday.

I might be hallucinating (if so, my apologies), but I believe that some small little tailor/seamstress shops sometimes advertise embroidery (thinking of places like that weird tailor in Bathurst station, or small like shops on Queen). Call around to a few of these places and see who might have embroidery capabilities.

Check your shopping malls. Its usually a tiny little storefront or a kiosk that does embroidery in a few hours (or minutes!).

Maybe ask at your local beading store?

Otherwise, the EmbroidMe chain has a location in Thornhill http://embroidme.com/locations/thornhill-markham-on-canada

Definitely look at the local malls. They are usually in kiosks. You can probably find a directory on the website or call the information desk.
