A certain old-school manly vibe thang.

Can you recommend website stores with the same American old-school hand-crafted masculine vibe as these web sites? I'm looking for accessories, grooming products and more.

Manly stuff I love:

Leatherman multitools
Kerosene lanterns (and everything else) from Lehman's.
Filson, one of everything, please.
Stetson hats.
Danner boots.
My husband's Benchmade mini-Griptilian
Badger brush shaving gear
Barbour coats
Tilley hats
Muck Boots. Seriously.
I would probably love many items from the Russell Moccasin Company if I ever robbed a bank.
And more: Good cast iron pans (I have a 30-year-old Griswold, but try Lodge), good cooking knives, and big, thick diner-style coffee mugs.

*Sigh.*

A Continuous Lean is a nice blog about iconic American wares (Filson, Pendleton, Levi's, etc.).

You might like some of the products sold by the Art in the Age collective, which even sells some of the Portland General Store products.

Oregon Wild Hair Moustache Wax
Classic Shaving
Christopher's Vintage Shave (warning: music, though it is nice Andres Segovia-style guitar)
Aidan Gill Barbershop (a caveat: it is rife with "we are men and that means we are LIKE THIS and that means NOT LIKE THOSE GIRLY WOMEN")

Wood & Faulk is mostly a blog but with a splash of shop. And the Brook Farm General Store isn't only manly stuff, but has a similar vibe.

Seconding Saddleback Leather, particularly for their reasonable prices and friendly service. In the same vein, I highly recommend the beltwear from Narragansett Leathers.

And another vote for Filson.

How could I forget Woolrich? I had the incredible luck of finding a vintage men's red-and-black-plaid hunting coat (still had an empty shotgun shell in a pocket) that fits like a dream. Makes me feel all kinds of outdoorsy and tough, especially while I'm on mommy duty, and it's warm enough for farm chores in winter.
