Bill Corbett consistently cracks me up. I will never forget his Valentine's day tweet this year: "Happy St. Valentine's Day, everyone! May all your hearts be lined up against a wall and massacred by love!"

I stopped following Your Friend From HS after a couple weeks. It was basically a one joke thing.

My favorites:

Ken Jennings. The Jeopardy champ guy. Very funny, and has some interesting trivia as well. He single-handedly changed my views of Mormon people.

Al Yankovic. Yeah, the Eat It guy. Even if you're not a fan of his music you might enjoy his feed. Lots of wacky pictures from his travels and very little self-promotion.

Very Short Story. Does what it says on the tin.

Bad Banana, aka Tim Siedell, has a great steam of Hedbergian/Wrightesque one liners, e.g. "I don't understand monogrammed shirt cuffs. I know, man. Those arms belong to you. They're attached to your torso."

Best answer: Your Aunt Diane example: "Close-minded New Mexico wont let me legally change my middle name to a picture of a sandstone and the sound the earth makes as it wakes up."

Peanut Free Mom -- I could give an example, but what's even funnier is watching people @-reply to her [him] who clearly don't get the joke

John Aeilli is a real DJ on Austin's NPR affiliate. Listening to his disjointed, self-absorbed rambling is maddening. Reading someone's transcription of them is sublime.

Best answer: A bit of shameless self promotion here: I built a little doodad to let me read twitter accounts from the beginning, and it happens to be ideally suited to these sorts of accounts. Twitter Fiction Reader is it's name.

The twitter banter of England cricketers Graeme Swann, Jimmy Anderson and the hapless Steve Finn is very funny, whether you know anything about the game or not.

@MustacheGypsy is loosely based on a real person who does not know that he's being represented on Twitter. Makes it funnier that its not entirely fictional.
