how to get votes for a facebook video contest?

need some ideas for getting votes for a video contest on facebook.

so my wife entered this contest on facebook to make a video for a song for zumba. in order to get to the next round she needs to get in the top 10 for votes. we have tried everything we can think of to get votes, posting a link often on our pages, writing on friends' walls, announcing the site at our Spin & Zumba classes we teach, posting on our websites, tweeting it, telling coworkers and friends to vote in general, even emailing radio stations and newspapers.
but there has to be other ways to promote it and get votes.
i need suggestions. it only runs for 2 more weeks so it is a short timeframe thing. thanks!

In my understanding of such things, I believe that people do Mechanical Turk as well as do vote trading in forums. Ethical? Probably not.

Response by poster: hhhmmm, thought about that but it is against the policy of Mechanical Turk so i figured it was a bad idea. but perhaps not...

I'm pretty sure that's against the Mechanical Turk policies.

What you need to do is get someone with a large network (e.g. lots of friends) to post for you, to get better reach.

If you can get a celebrity, band, etc, to post your link/video, you'll get tons of exposure. I'm part of an organization that recently lost a Facebook-voting contest because on the last day of the contest, our competitor got a band with 2,000,000 fans to post their link. (Though, they only got maybe 1,000 extra votes, so you can't count on one vote per fan!)

This has the highest chance of happening if the celebrity/band/etc already has an interest in the cause that you're working for (animal rescue, hunger, etc). So if it's not for a cause or something like that, you probably need to know them personally. :)

Good luck!
