Identify some Ethiopian music

Help me put a name to some Ethiopian music I heard last night.
An album of songs in Amharic by a female vocalist, the backing tracks tended to the atmospheric and percussive - in fact, it reminded me a bit of Clannad. I'm pretty sure it is a recent, popular release. Anyone familiar with Ethiopian pop and care to make a suggestion? Bonus points for linking to audio: I'll know it if I hear it again.

Pop, I can't help you. However, if it was Jazz, you can hear a bunch of Ethiopian Jazz tracks at emusic.com. Do a search for Ethiopiques. There are 17 volumes there with 30 second or so samples. Perhaps one will hit.
