What to do in Wayne, PA?

I'm in Wayne, PA until Monday for a wedding. I've never been to this town--what can I do/see around here? Where are the best places to eat?
Tips for things to do in the Philadelphia area would also be very appreciated!
That should be King of Prussia. Sorry King.

Saudia Shuler's Country Cookin: some of the best soul food in the city, and right near Laurel Hill Cemetary and scenic Kelly Drive.

Two cool museums in the greater Philly area that are often overlooked:
Mercer Museum
Mutter Museum
And of course, the fantastic:
Eastern State Penitentiary

Whatever you do, don't drive into Philly. Take regional rail to suburban station, which will drop you right in the middle of downtown. Once you're there...

Best answer: Also: in Wayne, you're right on the "Main Line", a string of relatively-wealthy suburbs lining up along the aforementioned regional rail line (and Lancaster Ave). I haven't done this in years, but it might be fun for you to walk through the small downtown/main street-type area of at least one or two of them, especially while the weather is nice. Nothing stunning or exciting, but certainly a pleasant afternoon of window shopping.
Then take the train to Philly in the evening, but be sure to catch the last one back out (PDF link).

Best answer: You're a close ride to Bryn Mawr (right along the Main Line) - drive on Route 30 towards the city. Bryn Mawr has a cute "Main Street" along Route 1 including a film institute and a lot of nice shops. Like supercres said, nothing stunning or exciting, but good window shopping.
For some stupid reason, Google Maps wants you to get off Route 30 to get from Wayne to Bryn Mawr. Don't do that. It's totally unnecessary.
If you like looking at nice college campuses, you're a stones throw away from at least 5 - Eastern, Villanova, Rosemont, Haverford, and (a little further) Saint Joseph's. There's also the Suburban Square shopping area, which is a nice open-air mall.
As much as it looks like Route 30 is a great way to avoid the highway and get right into the city, don't take it all the way into the city from Wayne.
There are a lot of nice restaurants on the Main Line. Yangming, for example, has been rated the second-best Chinese restaurant in the country. If you google "Main Line restaurants" or even "Main Line things to do" you'll get a lot of ideas.
I agree with taking the train in to the city, unless you're travelling with more than 2 people - it's about a $10 train ride there and back, and parking in the city can usually be found for around $15.

It may be weird, but I've always like the Mutter Museum.....

Mercer Museum
Doylestown is probably a bit more travel than you would like from Wayne considering how much other stuff there is closer. The Mercer Museum is pretty cool though. The Michener Art Museum is right next door and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants and bars right near by as well. All of this is in walking distance of the train station, but to get there you would be taking the train through Center City with a ton of stuff in between so it doesn't make much sense.

Philly - Reading Terminal Market, especially the Amish food counters. Old City, the oldest residential part of Philly, it's in walking distance of South St. too. The Barnes Foundation, a private museum of 19th & 20th century French paintings.
New Hope, PA - an artist colony/small town with a nice row of shops for strolling and some decent restaurants. It's about an hour from Wayne, so maybe a bit too far?

You're close to Jenkins Arboretum, which is free and has pretty landscaped gardens and sculpture.

Response by poster: Thanks for all of the great suggestions, guys! We ended up going to La Viola in Philly, and wandering around Rittenhouse Square and downtown. Definitely saving these suggestions for next time!
