Please recommend web performance/compatibility vendors

Browser/OS/platform/device compatibility testing vendors - reviews and advice.

I'm looking into systematic solutions for tracking compatibility of web properties across browsers and mobile devices. Gomez seems to supply most of the services I am interested in; I am testing some of their services on a trial basis and so far so good.

Has anyone had experience with this company or any others in this space? Who would you recommend? I'd also like some tips on what I should be looking for in a vendor for this type of service.

This area is not a particular strength of mine; I'm a creative director at a smallish agency, so I must wear many hats. Some of our sites receive a fair bit of traffic (up to 50k visits/month) so we are seeing a broad range of hardware and software, and we want to make sure everyone is having a good experience on our sites.

Browserlab by Adobe lets you see what your site looks like in a variety of browsers/OSes etc. It's free until next April.

ObDisclaimer, I work for Adobe.
