Help me find a book I remember from my childhood -- my recollection is that it was called "Bugs Bunny and the Rocket Ship," but when I look for it, I find nothing!

in about 1982-1985 my dad read me a picture book in which Bugs Bunny builds a rocket ship out of spare parts he finds at a construction site or junk yard. Elmer Fudd tells him it will never work, but he refuses to listen. He "blasts off" and lands on "another planet" (but the ship never actually moves.) When he leaves the rocket ship, he sees construction equipment and he thinks that it's aliens, and freaks out, and only later does he realize he never left the construction site!

I went through 8 pages of eBay Bugs Bunny childrens books, and I couldn't find anything. I know that I'm not imagining it or mistaking a cartoon for the book because my dad remembers reading it to me when I was growing up.

Can anyone help me identify this book?

Response by poster: No, it's not a comic, it's definitely a picture book. Additionally, it's from my childhood -- it might have been my brother's before me, but it's definitely from 1975-1985.

Argh, was just coming in to say "Bugs Bunny's Space Carrot" on archive.org.

I tracked it down by Googling "Bugs Bunny" and "Little Golden Books," and then having a look around Amazon.
