Long Island rocketship?

Inspired by this question, I'd like to determine what playground I loved to be taken to in the late 1960s, early 1970s on Long Island, probably in Nassau County. The most salient feature was a climb-on rocket ship. Was it at Jones Beach?

One of my friends was actually telling me about this park just a couple weeks ago! She says it was Wantagh Park in southeastern Nassau. Of course, the rocket ship is long gone.

Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa also had a climb on rocket ship.
